The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has reassured of the readiness of the administration of President Bola Tinubu, to invest in education, empower teachers and create a conducive atmosphere for learning.
Rep. Benson, the Chairman, House Committee on Defense who has facilitated numerous projects to uplift education in Ikorodu, reiterated the FG’s commitment on Sunday, in a statement commemorating the 2025 World Teachers’ Day.
The annual celebration this year is themed, ‘Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession’.
“Today, we celebrate the men and women (our teachers) whose wisdom lights the path of generations.
They are the silent nation-builders who nurture dreams, shape character, and ignite the pursuit of knowledge that drives national transformation.
“In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s, GCFR, Renewed Hope Agenda, we reaffirm our commitment to investing in education, empowering educators, and creating environments where knowledge truly becomes power”.
Rep. Benson specifically thanked teachers for their impacts and for laying good foundation for the country.
“To every teacher across Ikorodu Federal Constituency and Nigeria at large, your impact is immeasurable, your influence enduring, and your dedication the foundation of a greater tomorrow.
“Happy Teachers’ Day! Your labour is the heartbeat of our Renewed Hope”.
